Scot Thaxton has 30 years of experience in Civil Aviation Security and Commercial Aviation Operations.  Specialties include serving as Advisor to Transportation Security Administration-Office Security Operations Leadership regarding matters of security performance, equipment and design standards while setting operational requirements for new emerging technology.   This includes establishing TSA’s rates, standards and staffing productivity requirements.   Performs complex, in-depth studies, and directs and coordinates working groups on significant organizational and program issues that impact TSA policies and operational functions at the national level.  Extensive operational planning experience including air transportation security, manpower efficiency forecasting, schedule planning, performance analysis, strategic planning and crisis management for large organizations.
